A client in Blue Hill presented us with an unusual challenge. He had a pier, designed and built by his grandfather in the 1960’s that was suspended over the water with a ramp leading down to a float. The pier had come to the end of its useful life and needed replacing.
CFS took on the project to design, engineer, and install a 4.5′ x 35′ aluminum arch style replacement pier with Siberian Larch decking, seating, and handrails while retaining the steel cabling support
The client attached his existing ramp and float to the end in the spring of 2023.
